TCC Cares

We want to remind everyone of all of the good and togetherness going on during this time! Doing good is at our core, so we felt it was our responsibility to use our resources to support our local communities. These last few weeks have brought a whirlwind of changes, and we are so proud of our amazing employees who have stepped up and made a difference.

TCC Gives Emergency Response Grants

Our charitable arm, TCC Gives, normally supports local nonprofits each quarter through employee-sponsored Community Grants. However, with these last few weeks being so out of the ordinary, this quarter they decided to offer Emergency Response Grants supporting nonprofits on the frontlines of this COVID-19 outbreak. These grants helped a variety of causes all around the country, from keeping food on the table to ensuring people have access to essential healthcare services and more. In total, TCC Gives donated $160,000 to these 80 organizations:

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to these organizations, and all of the first responders, nurses, doctors, essential workers, and more who are out working so hard each and every day. You can see more details and photos from some of these grants on the TCC Gives Facebook page here.

iPad Donations to Nursing Homes

TCC Gives donated 25 iPads that went to 20 retirement or nursing homes in the Greater Cincinnati area. These tablets will let residents stay connected with family members and loved ones while staying safe and respecting the stay-at-home order. United Way of Greater Cincinnati helped distribute these iPads around the city. Read the full news story here.

iPad Donations to Hospitals

TCC Gives also donated 20 more iPads to The Guthrie Clinic. On top of keeping patients connected during a time where visiting in hospitals is very restricted, they were able to dedicate tablets to staff lounges in their two ICUs and on the main floor. These will allow their staff to take a much-needed breather and spend some time virtually with friends and family during a challenging time.

What stories have made you smile in the last few weeks? We’d love to hear them in the comments.
