Thanks for another great event! TCC hosted our 11th annual School Rocks Backpack Giveaway on Sunday, July 30 at 1PM.
Participating stores across the country handed out free backpacks and school supplies to students.
Behind the Backpack
We know that sending kids to school each year is expensive, especially getting all the necessary supplies. According to the National Retail Federation, families spend, on average, $864 on school supplies. TCC wants to help alleviate some of the stress of back-to-school time and help your kids show up to their first day prepared, confident, and ready to do great things.

I tried calling the Royal Avenue (Eugene, OR) Verizon to find out if the event is here but no one is picking up. Also, I have a sick kid who wasn’t able to come, can I snag one for him still?
Hi Augs! I just reached out to Eugene’s district manager, Daniel. The Eugene store is having an event today! Since your kid is sick, Daniel said it is okay to go to the event without him to get a backpack.
We are having our annual Perry Day in the Perry projects 14204. And was wondering if you had extra bookbags that we can give to the children in our community which is a low income community. Our event is aug 26 12-6 pm at Perry projects field
