We asked our employees if they had any stories about customers dropping their phones, and did they have some stories –some with a happier ending than others thanks to TMP.
I once had the owner of a pizza shop come in with his toasted phone. He had been using the flashlight to assist in cleaning out his pizza ovens early one morning. It wasn’t until after the ovens had been running at over 500 degrees for around an hour that he realized he lost his phone. After retracing his steps he found his phone cooking in the oven! When he brought it in to us, the LCD screen was cooked and had a hazy yellow look to it. The case had been melted as well which got a good laugh out of us all.
I had a customer purchase an iPhone XS Max 256GB phone on a Friday and by Sunday he had already dropped it into Lake Michigan on a fishing trip. Because he had TMP, he was very thankful that he didn’t have to come up with over $1000 to get a new one and super grateful for overnight shipping.
Customer told me that he ran over his original device completely destroying it and we set him up with a replacement through his insurance. Not kidding, three days later the customer returned to my store. As he walked in I said jokingly “run over another phone?” the customer looked at me and chuckled and raised his phone to show me. The phone was destroyed yet again because he had ran over it! So I helped him file another claim and a day or two later helped him set the new one up.

I had a customer come in with an iPhone 6, holding it by a piece of metal. He said he needed his phone replaced because he broke it, then I asked how. He showed me the back of the phone, and it had the tip of an arrow stuck in it. The customer said he set his phone up behind the target to record his shot and missed, putting the arrow through the phone. He had TMP though, so he got his phone replaced!
