When we initially called Taylor to let her know that she won $10,000, she didn’t believe us. And rightfully so. It almost sounds too good to be true! But in reality, Taylor was our latest Get10Give10 winner, our program where we randomly select a customer to win $10,000 for themselves and give them an additional $10,000 to donate to a nonprofit organization of their choice.
Taylor had two organizations that were very important to her and she couldn’t pick one over the other. She decided to split the $10,000 donation and give $5,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the other $5,000 to Pink Ribbon Girls.
The Pink Ribbon Girls help support individuals and families dealing with cancer by providing free and healthy meals, rides to treatment, peer support groups, and more. Taylor’s donation funded 520 meals! The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will use their $5,000 for research and drug development.
