Giving back isn’t something we just check off a list, it’s who we are. At Wireless Zone, our commitment to community runs deep. Through supporting local nonprofits with grants, volunteering, to giving our customers $10,000 so they can give back, too, we believe in using our platform to make a real impact. Check out all the good that’s happened in April, May, and June:

Feeding Our Local Community
In Q2, the East IN sales region was able to award Greensburg Bread of Life with a $2,500 grant after spending the day volunteering as a team. Pictured here is Melissa from the organization and Brian H., DM of the Greensburg and Batesville locations.

Giving Back Starts Here
Employees volunteered with Cocoa Packs in Hershey, PA, a nonprofit that provides supplemental food and other support to local children in need to enhance their overall wellness. They even had a new-hire participate on their first day – what an introduction to the culture at TCC!

Supporting Survivors, Together
The Ohio District 11 crew volunteered and helped clean up the Preble County Domestic Violence Shelter in Eaton, OH.

New Store, Big Impact
Watkins Glen, NY, is an upcoming new store that isn’t even open yet, but the employees couldn’t wait to get out into the community to help make a difference at Aspire Hope, Inc.
This organization focuses on mental health awareness and connecting individuals that need mental health support to various organizations. Our group created an emotional management wheel for youth so they can color and use the words on the wheel to express their feelings and help divert their stress in a healthier manner.

Cheering with Heart
“Today was one of those days that fills your heart in a way that words barely do it justice.”
Phil A. had the incredible privilege of volunteering at the South Jersey Field of Dreams alongside his amazing children, Gia and Enzo, and his co-worker Brandon. From the moment they arrived, they were welcomed by an outpouring of joy, energy, and community spirit. The turnout was nothing short of amazing—families, volunteers, and, most importantly, the incredible players who reminded them what true strength and happiness look like.
“A huge thank you to TCC for allowing us to be a part of something so meaningful. Days like today stay with you—and this one is a memory we’ll hold onto for a long, long time.”

Rescues Rock
Thank you to everyone who participated in Rescues Rock this year! We held in-store pet adoption events with local animal rescues, and regions teamed up for volunteer events. Plus, we donated $50,000 to three deserving animal rescues. $30,000 went to Change A Life Dog Rescue in East Haddam, CT, and Hamilton County Humane Society in Fishers, IN, and Moonlit Pines in Manhattan, IL, each received $10,000.

Feeding Our Community Together
Store Support volunteered at Gleaners food bank, packing 2,160 pounds of rice for neighbors that will visit the food pantry line in the coming weeks. We volunteer quarterly to help this local food bank.

Packed with Purpose
TCC proudly sponsored the Shepherd Center of Hamilton County’s first quarter care packages for senior adults. Several of our Store Support employees volunteered their time to pack 50 care packages filled with essential items and thoughtful touches for local seniors. Even more meaningful, the team personally delivered 35 of those packages directly to seniors’ homes in our community. We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and support those who have given so much.

A Fresh Coat and a Fresh Start
Tara C. showed up to support FullCircle KC, a nonprofit AA program supporting youth in South Kansas City, when they needed some last-minute help. This organization has grown so much over the past two years and moved into a larger space that needed to be painted.

A Journey of Gratitude
Kimberly S. got the surprise of a lifetime when the Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois invited her to join their next flight to Washington D.C.—leaving the very next morning. She’s been involved with this nonprofit for nearly 10 years and has always welcomed the veterans home, but this time, she got to experience the journey with them firsthand. On this Honor Flight, they took 91 veterans to D.C. to visit the memorials.
Kimberly also worked with the MILE CORE group and organized a handwriting letter writing campaign to thank veterans for their service.

Rooted in Rochester
The Upstate New York team came together to help the Rochester community and clean up at Charles Settlement House! The team cleared gardens, mowed lawns, and organized tons of children’s clothes. Charles Settlement House has been helping residents for over 100 years to access critical human services and assisting in the creation of safe, secure and vibrant northwest Rochester neighborhoods. They provide a wide range of activities and programs for all ages.

Empowering Her Next Step
At the Step Into Her conference hosted at our Store Support office for female employees, the participants packed female care kits for A Seat at the Table. This nonprofit helps minority women overcome barriers that limit access to leadership roles within corporations, government entities, entrepreneurship, and the community.

Opening Doors to New Adventures
Stephanie K. helped The Salvation Army of Vincennes receive a $5,000 grant to underwrite the cost of sending local children to week-long summer camps at Hidden Falls Camp near Bedford, IN. These families who cannot pay the full cost pay just $20 for their child to attend these fun camp programs, and The Salvation Army covers the rest of the cost – about $400 per camper. This cost never gets passed down to the families and is covered by donations and grants like ours. Stephanie’s efforts were highlighted in a press release and article published by The Salvation Army of Vincennes.
“After an amazing Christmas season working alongside Stephanie, we are beyond excited for the opportunity to show what we can do during the summer—and it’s all thanks to the team at TCC!” said Captain Joey Gates with The Salvation Army. “Their generosity and partnership are making it possible for kids in our community to experience camp, some for the very first time.”

Powered by Purpose
The S NY/PA sales region and Verizon teamed up after a great meeting to join forces at The Food Bank of the Southern Tier. Together, they were able to package 1,178 pounds of Cheerios to those in need in Elmira, NY. It was an awesome experience for them to be a part of, and they were so grateful to work for an organization whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of others and the communities in which we serve.

Helping Hands, Helping Paws
17 team members from our Store Support office headed over to the Hamilton County Humane Society for a volunteer event. We regularly support this animal rescue organization throughout the year.

Egg Hunts and Hope
The NC/SC/GA D9 sales team volunteered at an easter egg hunt for Mori’s Mission in Laurens, SC. This nonprofit works to end gun violence in their community.

Cody’s Week of Volunteering
Cody M. presented the Terre Haute Children’s Museum with their big TCC Gives grant check, then volunteered at a dining event at their local Culver’s to benefit the museum.
That same weekend, he participated in a volunteer event with the Damien Center in Indianapolis to work on an art mural in their new expansion.

Dreaming Bigger Together
The Store Support office hosted a career fair for Dream Alive. Their scholars spent the afternoon in our office learning about different departments through interactive booths. This year at the 2025 Dream Alive banquet, they named TCC as the most engaged company! This is a nonprofit that our office and the field have supported for years through volunteering and grants, plus they were a mega grant recipient.

Tyler C: Volunteer of the Year
At the 2025 Dream Alive banquet, Tyler C. was named the 2025 Volunteer of the Year! Tyler has been a highly involved volunteer with Dream Alive for years, participating in mentorship opportunities throughout the year with their scholars and leading events. We are so proud of his dedication. Congrats, Tyler, on this well-deserved award!

Walking for Inclusion
We grabbed our sneakers and showed up for the Best Buddies Friendship Walk. We walked to champion inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and raised over $6,000 for Best Buddies. We are so proud to stand with this organization and our Best Buddies employee, RJ Z!

New Hope Animal Rescue Volunteer Event
The SW IN/KY sales region had a great volunteer event helping one of their long-standing partners, New Hope Animal Rescue, in Henderson, KY. They had the opportunity to walk some of the dogs, clean up, and play with the cats. This region has provided over $15k in grants to support this no-kill shelter over the years!

NewDay Concert Volunteers
TCC employees volunteered for the NewDay concert in LaPorte, IN, some travelling as far as 3 hours to volunteer! They sold 50/50 raffle tickets and ran the Glow Bar. NewDay Foundation is a nonprofit that helps cancer patients throughout their treatment by providing financial help.
Here’s what NewDay said about working with TCC volunteers:
“NewDay is grateful to have TCC volunteer for the 5th year in a row for our concert! Without their help, the concert would not have the same success! We look forward to working with them every year. This year we celebrated our 22nd annual concert, and sometimes we wonder how we did it without TCC’s help in the past. They have also been a wonderful grant partner.”
